Motherly Advice

Always change your underwear; you never know when you'll be in an accident.

Don't make that face or it'll freeze in that position.
Be careful or you'll put your eye out.

What if everyone jumped off a cliff? Would you do it, too?

You have enough dirt behind those ears to grow potatoes!

Close that door! Were you born in a barn?

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

Don't put that in your mouth; you don't know where it's been!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!

Those sounded very familiar. My daughter gave me a Mother's day card that had pictures and a lot of the saying we used to say to our kids. Hope you have a very good Mother's Day also.

LOL, I heard every one of these when I was growing up.

my Mom always said all those things and more! Her favorite was "its not what you say but how you say it" and also the one you mentioned" if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all". It is scary when I hear myself tell my kids these same things!!
